Community and Citywide Education Councils are holding elections for all council seats. For the first time since the councils' formation in 2003, all parents of NYC public school students are eligible to vote in the upcoming election! Voting will take place from May 1- May 11 2021.

Get to know the candidates by attending the Candidate Forums.

Cast your vote using your NYC Schools Account (NYCSA).
Open an account at www.mystudent.nyc and link your students to the account with a “creation code” that your parent coordinator will give you.

You can read the candidates’ personal statements on www.schools.nyc.gov/Elections2021, but this is not enough. There is no substitute for hearing the candidates speak and answer questions at the forum to inform your vote.

Your active participation is essential to elect a strong council who can successfully advocate for your school community.

We look forward to seeing you this Thursday, April 15th from 6pm-8pm. The link for to register for the forum is in the flyer.

Don’t forget to vote! Between May 1 and May 11 vote through your NYC Schools Account (NYCSA).
