Letter from the principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back from what I hope was a restful and relaxing spring break!
As we begin the countdown towards June 26th, the calendar will begin to fill up with activities. Please remember to review the monthly parent bulletins, backpack flyers, and communications via PupilPath for useful information such as event dates and times.
For those families who recently received acceptance letters into our PreK and Kindergarten programs, please make sure to contact Ms. Martinez in our main office for registration appointments. As a reminder, all Kindergarten acceptances must be accepted by April 27th. You can reach Ms. Martinez by phone at (212) 927-8218 or via email at VMartinez2@schools.nyc.gov.
Lastly, parents and guardians: As the weather begins to warm up, please remember to have your children dress in layers so they can be comfortable in the classrooms. Also remind them to bring a water bottle with them to school so they can stay hydrated once the spring sun begin to make the classrooms just a touch warmer than what we've become accustomed to during the winter months.
Severe Weather Alert: Due to the heavy wind and rain, ALL middle school students will remain on campus today during the I.S. lunch hour.
