Misión

Trabajamos con los padres, el Equipo de Liderazgo Escolar (SLT), el cuerpo docente, la administración, Friends of 187, el Consejo del Presidente, el Consejo de Educación Comunitaria (CEC), el Superintendente del Distrito 6 y la Red D6, y el DOE para crear el mejor ambiente escolar posible para PS / IS 187 estudiantes.

Nosotros también:

  • Realizar y apoyar actividades de recaudación de fondos

  • Planificar actividades para mantener la participación y participación de los padres

  • Proporcionar acceso a información y recursos.

  • Identificar los problemas que le preocupan y trabajar con el SLT para abordarlos.

  • Realizar talleres

  • Ejecute el programa Representante de padres de la clase para tener acceso directo a cada aula

PTO General Meeting Information

 

The PTO monthly general meetings are where the business of PTO gets done. It is the forum where WE as parents and guardians get to have our voices heard.

​

The meetings are a great way to learn about new and ongoing initiatives, hear from the school teachers and administrators, ask questions, contribute ideas, and have direct impact on PTO decisions. MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO ALL PARENTS AND GUARDIANS, and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Meetings will be held virtually but are subject to change throughout the school year.
